It's been awhile. A month really, since my last post. Traveling has kept me busy, along with work and life in general. Enough with the excuses though, I know you're wondering,"Where are the recipes woman!?" So here are some tasty lil tidbits Ive created epically just for you!

Lemon Sweet Zesters:
Ingredients
organic lemons
sweetner of your choosing
water
coconut sugar

Slice lemon peel off the fruit into bite size strips
Soak in sweet water for 24 hrs. You can use honey water, agave water, date water, watermelon juice, apple juice, whatever fits your fancy.
Drain the water and add 3Tbs coconut sugar to the bowl. Coat the peels effeciently. Shake the container for about a day to get the coconut sugar to not only stick but to soak into the peel.
Place onto dehydrator sheets and dry at 115 for apx 10-14 hours or until desired consistency is achieved.
I like mine to have a bit of give so theyre hard chewy candy-like :)

A Different kind of guac ;)
Ingredients:
avocado
kiwi
strawberry
radish or beet
cucumber

Chop up the avo into lil chunks and add smooshed kiwi fruit to it.
Slice cucumber into strips. Now, I LOVE the skin but for this recipe, you may approve of it more skin free. You want the cucumber firm, not floppy. Save the soft seed area for a salad dressing or to put into a smoothie later.
Slice radish or beet into thin strips. A mandolin is excellent for this! Place on top of the cucumber.
Slice strawberries into strip and put on top of radish.

The awesome thing is you can play with your fruit/veggie combo. This strawberry cucumber treat is amazing alone but the kiwi-guac, scooped a bit on top, is EPIC!

And last, but certainly not least, Vanilla Cacao Strawberry Goji smoothie:
Ingredients:
12oz strawberries
1Tbs Maca Root powder
1Tbs Cacao powder
1 vanilla bean
1 cup coconut water
1Tbs coconut butter
1Tbs almond butter
camu camu liquid gold
1/4 cup chia seeds
flax oil
2 oz goji berries

Blend everything together except the goji berries. Put those on top after you pour your concoction :) The camu camu liquid gold and the flax oil I just give a good squeeze and call it good. So tasty!!
